In 1964, the Cameron family began building the first manual Cameron
Micro Drill Presses at the very same location they are produced
today. Good things last! It was a family business then, and it
stayed that way when Anita and Leo Treat took over in 1988. They
were proud to carry on in the tradition of Cameron, and have continually
worked on strengthening the Cameron reputation for designing and
building Precision, Manual Drilling Machines.
That they were successful in that endeavor is seen in their list
of satisfied customers making products for aerospace & avionics,
medical R&D and electronics. The machines are used in repairing
clocks and making jewelry and miniature art. Thousands of manufacturers
and artists from across the U.S. and Canada work with a Cameron
daily. Our reputation has also brought us Customers from places
such as Australia, Jordan and India (to mention a few).
With the new Century came new requirements for speed, automation
and precision milling. Cameron came to the call. With the development
of the 2000 Series Precision CNC Micro Milling & Drilling Centers,
we are meeting the future head-on.
We continue to push the envelope headed into the 21st Century with the addition of Tool Changing Cabilities and increased speeds and accuracy of our Micro CNC Centers, Collet Spindles for our Manual Drill Presses and a Semi-Automated Z-Feed Mechanism to our MD70-XZ. And keep looking, we'll be adding new technologies and capabilities as we continue to grow.
If you are in need of reliable, precision Manual Micro Drilling
Machines or CNC Micro Drilling (or Milling & Drilling) Systems,
you want to turn to Cameron. We have proven over four decades that
